What is Functional Medicine?
The Functional Medicine model is an approach to health that seeks to identify the root cause of illness, and provide long-lasting, true healing through personalized interventions that support the body's natural healing processes. One disease may have many causes, so this approach seeks to find and eliminate the root cause, instead of applying "band-aids" that only address bothersome symptoms.
What is Integrative Medicine?
Integrative medicine is also a healing-centered approach, treating the whole patient, in every aspect of their life. Conventional medical education is combined with traditional, complementary therapies.
Both focus on a theraputic consultant/client relationship, and are evidence-based.
